Refund Policy

We strictly do not offer refunds for incorrect sizing, style issues, postage delays, one-off promotional deals, change of mind or cancellations of bookings.

  • If you wish to cancel or return your hire, you will be issued with a credit note to be used within 12 months from date of cancellation (minus any shipping fee if cancellation occurs following dispatch)
  • Credit notes expire at the end of the 12-month period and cannot be extended or reissued if not redeemed.
  • If you receive your hired item not as described or faulty, please contact dressmeupsydney@gmail.com within 4 hours of arrival. If the item is faulty, you must provide images via email to dressmeupsydney@gmail.com within 4 hours of arrival. If you proceed to wear the dress throughout your hire period whilst it is "damaged" then a refund will not be issued.
  • In the rare event of a system error where you have in a booked a date that is unavailable, we will issue you a full refund straight away.
  • Refunds will only be given if you are living in another country as Australian customers are only permitted to hire. 

Cancellation Policy

Hire fees are non-refundable in the event of a booking cancellation.

  • If you wish to cancel your hire booking, you must advise of cancellation 7 days in advance of the rental reserve booking date to be eligible for a credit note.
  • A credit note will be issued, valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation.
  • No cancellation fees apply
  • To advise a booking cancellation and request a credit note, please contact us via email or Instagram DM, and our team will be in touch to arrange a credit note for you. 
  • All try on bookings have a fee of $15 which will be deducted from your order if you proceed with your hire. If you cancel your appointment, the fee will not be refunded.

Damages and Issues Policy

All of our items must be returned in their original condition. If there are any noticeable damages to our items, you will be charged a replacement fee which will depend on the original price of the garment. 

We advise you to be extremely cautious if using fake tanning products or perfume. In the event that fake tan stains a garment or perfume damages the fabric and prevents it from being rehired we reserve the right to charge a replacement value of the item(s) subject to our assessment of replaceable value

Please do not wear makeup or have fresh spray tan on during your try on appointment. If there are shown to be any stains after you have tried on our item, you will be charged a fee of $25. Any damages whilst trying on our items will be charged a fee according to the damage size.

We ensure that our garments are kept in the best condition possible, however the User must accept and acknowledge that our items have been pre-worn. There may be areas of fair wear and tear on the item(s), and you will not be entitled to a refund, exchange or credit note for this scale of damage. You have the right to request photos before shipping of the item(s) you are hiring.

If item(s) is damaged amongst arrival, you must provide images via email to dressmeupsydney@gmail.com within 4 hours of arrival. You may be responsible for the damage if we are not notified within this time period or sent photo evidence of the damage.

Late Returns Policy

If our items are sent out later than the designated hire period, we have the right to charge late fees of 15% of the whole hired order per late day. If you fail to pay your fees when requested, you will continued to be charged per day until you have paid for the calculated fees (late fee and paying late). Legal action will be made if these are not followed.

It is unlikely that your parcel can be lost when returning back to us, if it is taken to the post office you will not be required to pay a percentage of the hired item. However, you may be held liable if you return your parcel to a post box (you will be held liable if it was put into the wrong post box) instead of a post office.
