Terms and Conditions
By hiring with Dress Me Up, you agree to all terms outlined below.
1.1 We strictly do not offer refunds for incorrect sizing, style issues, postage delays, one-off promotional deals, change of mind, cancellations of bookings, or minor imperfections associated with pre-loved garments, including slight wear, faint marks, or residual scents.
1.2 If you wish to cancel or return your hire, you will be issued with a credit note valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation (minus any shipping fee if cancellation occurs following dispatch). Credit notes cannot be extended or reissued once expired.
1.3 If you receive your hired item not as described or faulty, you must contact hello@dressmeupsyd.com.au within 4 hours of arrival with clear photo evidence. If the item is worn after being reported as faulty, a refund or credit will not be issued.
1.4 In the rare event of a system error where a booking is unavailable, a full refund will be issued.
1.5 Failure to wear the garment does not constitute grounds for a refund, partial refund, or credit.
2.1 Hire fees are non-refundable in the event of a booking cancellation.
2.2 To be eligible for a credit note, cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the reserved hire date.
2.3 Credit notes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and cannot be extended.
2.4 No cancellation fees apply. To request a cancellation or credit note, please contact us via email or Instagram DM.
2.5 Try-on appointments are complimentary and strictly by appointment only. Walk-ins are not available.
3.1 All garments must be returned in the same condition they were received, allowing for fair wear and tear. Any noticeable damage may result in repair or replacement charges based on the original value of the garment.
3.2 We strongly advise avoiding fake tan, heavy perfume, and body products when wearing our garments. If staining or damage prevents the item from being rehired, the full replacement value may be charged.
3.3 Please do not wear makeup or have fresh spray tan on during try-on appointments. Any stains will incur a $25 cleaning fee. Any damages will be charged accordingly.
3.4 All garments are pre-loved and have been worn previously. While professionally cleaned and carefully inspected, minor signs of wear may be present. This includes slight fabric wear, faint marks, or residual scents that may not be fully removable due to the delicate nature of certain fabrics. By hiring with us, you acknowledge and accept this.
3.5 Refunds, exchanges, or credits will not be issued for minor wear and tear, as this is expected with pre-loved garments.
3.6 If an issue is raised prior to your event, any resolution offered (including re-cleaning or a backup garment) is provided at our discretion. A refund or exchange will only be applicable if the original garment is returned immediately and not retained for the full hire period.
3.7 If item(s) arrive with damage, you must provide images within 4 hours of arrival to hello@dressmeupsyd.com.au. Failure to notify within this timeframe may result in the damage being deemed your responsibility.
4.1 Late returns will incur a fee of 15% of the total hire price per day until the item is returned.
4.2 If late fees are not paid when requested, additional charges may continue to accrue daily until all outstanding amounts are settled.
4.3 Failure to return items or settle outstanding fees may result in further action, including recovery of the full replacement value of the garment.
4.4 All return parcels must be lodged at a registered post office. While loss in transit is unlikely when returned correctly, customers may be held liable for lost items if incorrect return methods are used, including placing parcels in a post box or returning to the wrong location.
5.1 All discount codes, promotions, and offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or amended at any time without notice.
5.2 New subscriber discounts are limited to one use per customer and are valid for one-time use only. Multiple uses or attempts to bypass this restriction may result in the order being cancelled.
5.3 Discount codes and promotional offers must be applied at the time of booking and cannot be applied retrospectively once an order has been placed.
5.4 Promotions and discount codes cannot be combined unless otherwise stated.
5.5 One-off promotions, limited-time offers, or event-based discounts cannot be honoured once the promotional period has ended.
5.6 Dress Me Up Sydney reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order where a promotion or discount has been used incorrectly or in breach of these terms.
