How this works:
We will be stocking the dress that you would like to have hired out in our showroom (Padstow) so it is available for clients to try on. We don’t charge customers to try on however if there is any damages to the garment during this time, the customer will be charged accordingly.
You will be receiving a 50% cut if your dress gets hired out and dry cleaning costs will be covered by Dress Me Up Dress Hire.
If a dress is damaged by the customer, they must pay a fee according to the damage size so you will not have to pay for any damages.
Dress Me Up Dress Hire feature your products in paid photo shoots and advertisements including Meta ads, TikTok and campaigns with PR influences. We also pack the orders for you and ship them out if it’s been hired out.
To become a lender you must fill out a form to be apart of the Dress Me Up team for security purposes and to verify your identity. You can also pull out of this at any time.

Term's and Conditions:
This document outlines the terms and conditions governing the rental of dresses through our platform, with the involvement of a third-party lender. Please read these terms carefully before proceeding with any registrations.
1. Agreement Between Parties
By using our dress rental services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. This agreement is between the user (referred to as "Customer") and the dress rental platform (referred to as "Dress Me Up") in conjunction with the third-party dress provider (referred to as "Lender").
2. Rental Process
a. Selection and Booking: Customers can browse through the available dress options on our platform, make selections, and book dresses for a specific duration.
b. Third-Party Lender Involvement: The rented dresses may be Supplied by the third-party Lender and Fulfilled by Dress Me Up. The Customer acknowledges and agrees to the involvement of the Lender and Dress Me Up in the fulfilment process.
3. Rental Period
a. The rental period starts from the date the dress is received by the Customer and ends on the agreed-upon return date.
b. Late Returns: A late fee may be charged for dresses returned after the agreed-upon return date. This fee is only taken by Dress Me Up.
4. Dress Condition
a. Customers are expected to return the dresses in the same condition as received. Any damages, stains, or alterations may result in additional charges
b. Cleaning Fees: If the dress requires cleaning beyond normal wear and tear, a cleaning fee may be applied. In which Dress Me Up cover all costs.
5. Payments and Fees
a. Rental Fees: Customers will be charged the agreed-upon rental fee for the selected dress. Dress Me Up have the right to take 50% of the entire hired price for the efforts and the Lender is entitled to 50% of the hired price.
b. Lender Sales: When a sale is made through a website, the Lender will be paid through bank transfer. Shopify takes a fee off each sale made so the total that is paid will be split and sent directly to the Lender's given bank details.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
a. Cancellation by Customer: Cancellations made within a specified time frame may be eligible for a store credit. This will not be credited to the Lender as the hire has been cancelled. Please refer to our cancellation policy.
b. Cancellation by Company or Lender: The Company or Lender reserves the right to cancel or refuse any rental order without providing a specific reason.
7. Liability
a. The Company and Lender are not liable for any allergic reactions, injuries, or damages arising from the use of the rented dresses.
b. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the rented dresses are suitable for their intended use.
8. Privacy
a. Personal information provided by the Customer will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy and only Dress Me Up will have access to the Customers details.
9. Hiring with Family and Friends
a. If a friend or family member of the Lender would like to hire one of the Lenders pieces, the Lender must reach out on their behalf and Dress Me Up will take a smaller percentage of 20% of the total price and the family or friend can proceed with the Lenders preferred price.
10. Modification of Terms
Dress Me Up have the right to reject any registrations without reasoning. If the rental is not making any sales, Dress Me Up have the right to pull out of the contract at any time with notice to the Lender. If the rental has been received not up to standard Dress Me Up have the right to reject the rental.
The Company reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Customers and Lenders will be notified of any changes.
By proceeding with becoming a Lender, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not proceed with the registration process.
